Piggy Wallet — Stellar Yield Integration

Track: SCF Build Integration Track Proposal

1. Purpose

This document describes the technical architecture for adding Stellar-based USDC yield to Piggy Wallet, enabling families to bridge USDC from EVM chains to Stellar and earn yield via Stellar-native DeFi, while preserving Piggy’s self-custody model.

2. Project Overview

Piggy Wallet is a family financial management platform where Guardians (parents) manage finances for Dependants (children) through a multi-generational wallet system. The platform currently supports USDC tracking on Base and Celo, with yield generation through Aave v3 on Base.

This proposal introduces Stellar-based yield generation for Piggy users, enabling families to bridge their USDC from EVM chains to Stellar and earn yield through DeFi protocols native to the Stellar ecosystem within Piggy’s existing self-custody architecture.

3. Scope

In scope

• Stellar wallet enablement for Guardians via Privy
• Bridging USDC between EVM chains and Stellar via Allbridge Core
• Yield access through DeFindex vaults (deposit/withdraw, vault discovery)
• Yield generation via Blend v2 (as an underlying strategy used by DeFindex)
• Position tracking and APY display based on DeFindex data
• Unified dashboard experience (Base/Aave + Stellar/DeFindex)
• Orchestration via Piggy backend services and Stellar RPC provider (QuickNode/Horizon)

Optional

• Anchor (SEP-24) flows for fiat on/off-ramp (shown as optional in the architecture diagram)
